Small and Simple
When we designed the beagle we had one idea in mind - to create a great device for eReading. We've kept things simple to bring you just that. There is no Wi-Fi, cables, chargers or SD card slots.
The beagle is powered by two AAA batteries and ebooks are added via Bluetooth from a smartphone. A single pair of batteries will last for up to one year, based on reading 12-15 books per year*.
Its small size and simple design means that you can take the beagle with you wherever you go without having to carry any additional accessories, cables or chargers.
Personalize
Tailor the reading experience to your taste. Set the font size in the App before sending books to the beagle. The device can also be personalized with back-covers in four vivid fashionable colors to fit your personal taste – choose the colour that fits your mood.
Receive ebooks sent from a smartphone
The txtr beagle communicates with the txtr ebooks smartphone App. To add more ebooks:
- Pair the txtr beagle with your smartphone via Bluetooth
- Select a book from your personal library
- Tap the book to send it to the txtr beagle where it appears within seconds
Enjoy reading!
Unlimited Library
You can read up to five ebooks at any one time on the beagle. This doesn't mean that you are limited to only reading those five books; you can store an unlimited number of ebooks on your txtr cloud library.
Any books you add to your library from the txtr store (via the txtr Android app or web store) are stored in your library. You can also add books and documents from elsewhere to your txtr library.
Once a document is in your library you can send it to your beagle. Delete books from the beagle after reading to make space for the next one. Any books deleted from the beagle will stay in your cloud library to access and read on any device.
